How the Algorithm Works
The Love Thermometer calculates compatibility between two people using an algorithm that combines two main factors:
- Name Compatibility (40%): Each letter of the name has a numerical value (A=1, B=2... Z=26). We calculate the total sum for each name and compare the results to determine numerological affinity.
- Zodiac Compatibility (60%): Each zodiac sign has different affinities with other signs. We use an astrological table based on elements (Fire, Earth, Air, Water) and the characteristics of each sign to calculate compatibility.
The final score is a weighted average of these two factors, with greater weight given to astrology. The result is then accompanied by a romantic phrase appropriate to the compatibility level!
