Biorhythm Calculator Online

Instructions for calculating Biorhythms

1. Select day, month and year of birth. 2. Select the reference date for the calculation. 3. Click on the yellow button "calculates biorhythms in reference month". 4. The graphs will be displayed dynamically.

The red line shows the Physical Biorhythm. The green line shows the Emotional Biorhythm. The blue line indicates the Intellectual Biorhythm. The magenta line indicates the Intuitive Biorhythm.

At the top right you can see the number of days of life. By clicking or tapping on the small square that shows the number of individual days of the month in question, will be shown the daily percentage level of each cycle. The higher the percentage shown, the better your physical, mental and emotional state of fitness. By clicking on the red arrows to the left and right, you will get the Biorhythms graph of the previous or next month.

Information on Biorhythms and interpretation of graphs

The Biorhythm of the Physical cycle is related to the movement of the Sun. It indicates the strength, vitality and physical energy of the individual. This cycle has a duration of 23 days.

The Biorhythm of the Emotional cycle is related to the Moon. It expresses the state of mind and in general the emotional condition. This cycle has a duration of 28 days.

The Biorhythm of the Intellectual cycle is related to Mercury. It represents the intellectual condition and affects the ability to communicate. This cycle has a duration of 33 days.

The Biorhythm of the Intuition cycle is additional to the other three. It was discovered later. It cannot be considered as a primary Biorhythm; however, it can provide indications on the best moments to trust one's "sixth sense". The Intuition cycle traces individual sensitivity in unconscious and instinctive perceptions. When the line is close to the top it means that intuition is marked. Vice versa, when the curve touches the bottom, the person may manifest greater difficulties in grasping situations on the fly and a more analytical approach in choices is preferable. This cycle has a duration of 38 days.

Biorhythm is a sort of internal clock that marks aspects and tendencies of a person's life and is represented with simple sinusoidal curves. The main Biorhythms concern the Physical cycle, the Intellectual cycle and the Emotional cycle. In this calculator, the cycle that regulates intuition, the predisposition to empathy, and the inspiration of a subject has been added. The theory of Biorhythms originated at the end of the nineteenth century from an intuition of Herman Swoboda, a professor of psychology at the University of Vienna. Later, it was developed by another doctor, W. Fliess (correspondent with Freud), and by an engineer, Teltscher, who identified the intellectual cycle lasting 33 days.

Positive phases and negative phases.

On days when the physical situation is in a positive state, one has more energy and resistance and health conditions tend to be better. The impulses reach their peak and for this reason one could be more inclined to take on ill-considered behaviors.
On positive days of the emotional cycle, one is usually in a good mood and is more predisposed to get along with others. However, the negative aspect must also be considered: the individual could be excessively emotional, impulsive, prone to exaggerations.
On positive days of the intellectual cycle, one is more skilled at finding solutions to problems, in conceiving good ideas; the memory is more reactive. The person is more inclined to broaden their perspectives and, if they are unable to carry out a project, they could feel bored.

Negative phases materialize when a Biorhythm drops below zero. These are not necessarily the worst periods, since they can be considered as a recharging phase.
From a physical point of view, negative days induce a need for more rest and the immune defenses are not at their maximum efficiency. The impulses show signs of weakness, you may have a loss of appetite and efforts may be excessive.
On negative days of the emotional cycle, the tendency to withdraw, to avoid duties or to withdraw, preferring to be alone rather than in the company of others, may appear. Some subjects experience states of depression, especially when their cycles reach their lowest point.
On negative days of the intellectual Biorhythm, you may experience difficulties in making decisions, in the ability to concentrate; interpersonal communication becomes more difficult, even if the potential for recharging energy on days when the biorhythm is negative should be repeated; a period of rest and relaxation always contributes to a healthy vegetative balance.

Critical days.

Critical days are those during which a cycle passes from the positive to the negative phase (and vice versa), crossing the zero point; the gray dividing line is visible in the center of the diagram above. Although the adjective "critical" has a relative value, in general the days following the conclusion of the high phase of a cycle are considered critical, as is the last day of the low phase of the sinusoidal curve. These are phases of change, during which the organism experiences a condition of flow. This means that it is advisable to avoid acting impulsively, recklessly, and that it is necessary to pay attention to the impulses sent by the vital aspect considered (physical, emotional, intellectual, intuitive). The days that precede and follow critical days are defined as semi-critical.

Another situation occurs when double or triple critical days are observed, that is, those in which two or three biorhythmic cycles intersect. The first triple critical moment is that of birth, that is, the beginning of the first biorhythmic era. According to the scholars of the theory of Biorhythms, an era is composed of 924 physical cycles, 759 emotional cycles and 644 intellectual cycles, with a total of 4,326 critical days. The second biorhythmic era begins at just over 58 years of age, upon reaching the 21,253rd day of life.

Statistical research.

Some statistical research on people over fifty seems to demonstrate that during these "critical" days, especially the physical and emotional ones, one is more prone to accidents, lacks coordination, judgment and alertness. During an emotionally critical day, people are more susceptible to making mistakes when speaking, are more likely to utter irresponsible expressions, to argue or engage in disputes. From an intellectual point of view, the critical day could be the cause of memory lapses or errors.
